How do I use Snap Focus for Street Photography with the Ricoh GR III? It's not difficult, especially if you don't put too much thought into. The biggest problem new owners and users face with snap focus and the Ricoh GR cameras is trying to overthink how Snap Focus works.

In this video, we try to focus not on the how it works, but how to use it. Snap Focus with the Ricoh GR III is one of the best features for a street photographer. While it is similar, and based upon the Zone Focusing premise,

Ricoh takes the guess work out of the process, and helps the photographer concentrate on the shot and framing, not the technical aspects of zone focusing. There are three ways to use Snap Focus with the Ricoh GR III. I go through all three options, starting with my least favorite, to my method of choice for my street photography.

In this video, I discuss the battery life of the Ricoh GR III for street photography, as compared to other compact cameras, as well as adding the Newmowa Li-90B Battery Pack and charger to your camera bag. This includes two batteries, and a charger, and along with the single battery included with the Ricoh GR III, you'll have three batteries, and the charger. A great deal, and something you'll need if you're doing a lot of shooting.

Ricoh GR III owners, along with most compact camera owners, have either had a battle with dust on the sensor, or have heard horror stories from those that have. This is not unique to the Ricoh GR III, but how does it happen?  This video explains how it can happen, and some possible solutions to prevent this from occurring with the Ricoh GA-1 Adapter.

I continue to use the compact but extremely potent Ricoh GR III for some photos of an abandoned house not too far away from my home. This was a fun little excursion that included this little house, as well as the barn featured in Vlog #1.

Using the Ricoh GR III, or any compact camera, you can take great landscape photos. It helps that the Ricoh GR III has an APS-C sized sensor, giving a much better image than most compact cameras with 1-inch or 1 2/3-inch sensors, and often better results than most consumer-brand DSLR's and mirrorless cameras on the market.
