While I typically take my time and shoot in manual mode with most cameras, I have to admit I'm having fun trying out the automated shooting functions of these old film cameras. The Canon Rebel EOS 2000 is no exception. There are several decent videos out there on youtube that will show you the details of the Canon Rebel EOS 2000 camera. This review is more about the on-the-run operation of this camera, with a roll of 24-exposure Kodak UltraMax 400 35mm film.

Actually, the exception is that this camera feels and operates so much like a DSLR camera. The reason for that, I assume, is that this camera was released at the same time digital cameras were becoming widely used instead of film cameras.

In this video, I discuss the battery life of the Ricoh GR III for street photography, as compared to other compact cameras, as well as adding the Newmowa Li-90B Battery Pack and charger to your camera bag. This includes two batteries, and a charger, and along with the single battery included with the Ricoh GR III, you'll have three batteries, and the charger. A great deal, and something you'll need if you're doing a lot of shooting.

As I sit and ponder the freaky year of 2020, I'm both happy with what I've achieved and with my advancement as a photographer, but also sad that the pandemic changed what was suppose to be my most traveled year of photography yet!

I always like to look at both sides of events, and with 2020, I have to admit, it's possible my YouTube channel could have been completely different if not for covid, and perhaps not as successful. While I don' t have a barometer to measure the results of my YouTube channel in regards to success/failure, I do feel like my channel was a personal success.

In actual numbers, since I jump-started my channel using the Ricoh GR III with my 'Review for Long Exposure and Night Photography' video on May 5, 2020, I've posted an additional 41 videos, with a total of 80,000 views, 7,000 watch hours, and over 1,100 subscribers. I'm averaging over 100 new subscribers per month.

Independence Day 2020 was dampened by lockdown restrictions and a ban on public gatherings for fireworks displays, so that naturally kept most people out of Indianapolis on this Saturday. Fortunately there were enough folks out, including a guy trying to sell me a Leica, on payments, and a very patriotic moment with some armed forces members, that I was still able to come away with a video full of photos from my Ricoh GR III.
